NBillett09
2nd try of my Fruit Salad ale. This is vastly bette than the first dud, light, melon and passion fruit flavours, good carbonation and head, fairly clear. There must have been a dud bottle or more in the batch. This was my 50/50 experiment with an el dorado dry hop in half the batch. Both equally enjoyable, perhaps the el dorado dry hop adds some flavour which makes it better. Would make this again, perhaps with Galaxy and some Carapils also.
Tone boy
A partial mash lager. Gladfield ale malt. Hallertau Mittelfrüh, w34/70. Really nice and still only young
RDT2
Aussie Lager has cleared nicely (although you wouldn’t think so due to condensation) and in my new/old Swan Lager glass I paid a hefty $4 for a couple of days ago! A fitting combination IMO!

Aussiekraut
This is the experiment from a few weeks ago. Mainly Pilsner malt with a range of specialty malts, PoR and fermented with M54. It’s been in the keg for 2 weeks and looks good. The malts work well and it is rather tasty but the bitterness is a little in your face for a 28 IBU beer. It should mellow out a little in the next 2 weeks. Looking forward to it

Well done mate that’s awesome! It’s pretty amazing to make a beer from scratch! I remember my first one I stunk the house out and I thought I was in heaven until the family came home and started complaining about the smell! 3

Great stuff Mick, apart from tasting better & achieving the task an added bonus is you can dispose of the spent grain very quickly. 2 1

Yeah, my first one I had the BZ boiling with the temp too high & ended up with having to add water, the second one I tried the Brewfather app & ended up with too much sparge water & nowhere to put it & now I don't bother with the software & just follow the instructions. I have simplified it by by-passing the unnecessary stuff that come with the BZ & use the pro-screen & cube it. Strangely they have all turned out nice beers.
Classic Brewing Co
Here's a way to take you brew with you if you are going to the snow, I am thinking that's what @Red devil 44 & @stquinto do as they both come across snow. 1
