I am a Happy Camper ATM, had a busy morning dodging persistent rain in the garden & general clean-up.

Time for a cold one, my favourite of course !! Meanwhile the Nottingham is working at the other end of the room in one of the FV's, going well after just 18 hours, developing a healthy krausen. I need to get busy & fill all of the FV's to build stocks up.

 Nice one Phil 👍

Normal service has been resumed then. As someone might say, take the rest of the day off 🤣

Yeah Mate, things are starting to take shape, I am pretty happy with the Bar/Brewroom/Office/Mancave whatever it is & the rest of the rooms are starting to make sense, it is a very big house so I can spread out & I love it by the sea 🏖️

Cheers

Quite a few sours in that haul.  You have definitely turned!! 😁

I'd like to say no but I seem to develop a taste for them, as scary as it might be 🙂 Some are quite nice, others more bleh.

But yeah, it scares the living hell out of me 🙂

how many you have?

The real answer to your question is TOO MANY !!

Over the years I have always had lot's of glasses - of all types, I have stopped buying/finding/receiving Wine Glasses because after this last house move I have only come to realise that no-one needs 10 cartons of wine glasses, I haven't even unpacked all of them.

 Photo's 1,2,3 is some of the beer glasses in the Bar Room, 4 some of the wine glasses in the Dining Room, 5 one of the shelves in the Lounge, as you can see I have only started unpacking them, I have more than enough to fill 2 shelves of them !

I do have more Beer Glasses, again still in boxes so these photos give you a rough idea.

There are also LOT"S of Scotch/Shooter/Tumbler/Cocktail/Balloon/Hi-Ball/Champagne/Flutes etc .....

still in boxes. 🤔 Maybe too many.

Cheers.

I just got a parcel that went to my old address from the one & only @disgruntled wow 6 x PET's - 4 look the same & the other 2 possibly Stout. I didn't expect that many so well done mate.

I will reciprocate with some Stubby Holders etc, sadly I don't have any PET bottles to send ATM due to the move however I can fix that.

In the next couple of days when they have settled & chilled I will critique them & post photos.

So thanks Dissa, Cheers. 🍻

Another Rodenbach Grand Cru. I even went to the effort of buying the glass. This one is really growing on me

Beautiful beautiful beer. There are only a few styles I have looked to perfect. Belgian Tripel and quad and now this one. Might take me years to perfect this one seeing how long they take.

Cheers but as I said there are a lot more in boxes, it's mainly Beer Glasses with branding that I am interested in now.

I don't have a missus to tell me I have too many so that's a good thing I guess. 😀

Yep, every female visitor that comes here says the same thing " Why have you got so many glasses "  They tell me I need to get rid of them & stuff like that, some even say it makes your house look like a Pub, hey, that is my intention !! 🤣

Always a go to for me, I guess that they have been doing it long enough that they have worked it all out! Beautiful after a sweaty mowing session this afternoon.

Beautiful stuff @kmar92 KMar... luvyerwork.  Interesting - the colour is not that fffffaaaar off my earlier HW - maybe a tad lighter than those and the Paulaner out of the tin?

Hope ya got some fresh caught Yellow Belly or Yabbies to wash down with that beer there.  Very disappointed if you don't.

That's awesome I will have to check out where it is as I am 900m from the Glenelg Tram so whoosh straight into the City if you get my drift & no driving home either 🙂

Had a look and they're on Rundle St. Good idea get the tram and enjoy a few Red IPAs.

you need to be disappointed then mate any attemp at fishing here I would snag a jet ski or an actual skier going past. Don't think I'd like to waste a whole day trying to fillet a skier.

Brewry = otherside brewing Co
beer name = lupomax hop attack
style = strong ale
ABV = 6.0%

not over impressed for a strong Ale as i was expecting it to be a bit tougher on the bitterness then it really is
i'm geting the danky flavour surrounded by the juicy citra and mosaic hops  and i think the juiciness of this beer is where it lets itself down,  yes it Showcases the heavy tropical aroma and thats fine but it runs right through it making it hard to pick up on other flavours .

i would drink it again but its not on my  list to brew basicly20220126_155533.thumb.jpg.927877eedfd6de69e3d5627629293b73.jpg
