Non-diastatic strain - but still tasty 'Ceptor?

Am slightly less scared if it is a non-diastatic strain 🙂

That is the one, still tastes like a saison should.

Kveik is okay but has nothing on a nice dry saison

First grain steep.  HB shop owner gave me 150g crystal and some instructions. 50 min at 68 C steep. Real ale tin, 500g dme, 23L, 40g mosaic dry hop. 2 weeks old. Amazed at the head retention. And taste

Nice work @MitchBastard Mitchie : )

Hafta try me Lally Kölle first before I can SafAleK97 haha!

First one K1 is in the keg right now having a sit and think while the second iteration K2 is hopefully going into keg later this week : )

The third back to back with the K yeast cake is to be something of an Altbier - see how we go 😆

@Itinerant Peasant the flogger of yeasts!

Saison, nice and simple.

Pale, wheat, Cashmere and Lallemand Farmhouse.
Great beer, tastes like a saison, slight flavour from the yeast.

What percent alcohol is it the same as the Nelson saison mid strength you brewed or more potent obviously different yeast and hops? I ask as I have a bag of cashmere in the freezer and a saison yeast😋

Coopers Draught, only a few left, Easy Drinking.

Looks nice mate, the Coopers basic range; Lager/Draught/Pale Ale/Real Ale/Dark Ale/Stout etc are all good beers & excellent to have as everyday fridge fillers, I have set up my brews in the last few weeks to have a range of them available while I get accustomed to AG.

They suit most peoples tastes, some of the aren't that found of IPA's/Wheats/Sours etc but's that's good, you can drink them yourself 🤣

Getting to the end of this keg of Landlord clone. Beautiful colour, and the gas is about right. I know this might sound like sacrilege but I’m actually getting bored of it 😳

Maybe because I messed up the hops and all the bitterness has dissipated and it’s too malty. Or that I have a short attention span…
