It also works well if I use kveik at 35 degrees c

I thought 'Oh my goodness - fermenting at 35deg!' So I googled 'kveik' and good old Wikipedia and other sites told me it is a Norwegian farmhouse yeast with a long history  -very interesting.

As other have said it is a great yeast, perfect for brewing at ambient temperatures, Kveik likes it hot, even gives you beer a different flavour depending on your other additions, try it out Jenny I have used it in lot's of Pale Ales.

Currently cold crashing the strawberry gose.  Not a bad beer to be honest. Not very familiar with the style but it delivers what it’s meant to in terms of balance. Sweetness from the strawberries. Tartness from the Philly sour yeast and a thirst enducing moreness from the sea salt. I was thinking the saltiness would actually be drowned out by the strawberries and lactic but alas she’s there in full force.  Carbed up and on tap this week.

Busy few day for me.

Bottled a Coopers Real Ale.

Was going to have a crack at the Eclipse Pale Ale but shop didn't have Eclipse, so it's Galaxy Pale.

First time using the Wheat Malt Extract tin, added 300g of Golden Oats steeped, 30g of Galaxy Hops steeped.

And a Coopers Pale onto the dirty batch of the Real Ale

K&K with Light dry Malt and 300g of Carapils steeped, 30g Bravo hops, thrown in at the end of the boil.

Building up stocks for a visit from my Son in July..

Just set up my new 60L All Rounder Fermenter complete with Thermowell.

‘Will be filled with 2 x batches of AG West Coast IPA  (Coastbusters) by tomorrow afternoon.
‘Once I purchase the Gen 4 65L Brewzilla it will be double batches  all the way.

Wow. Looks impressive. Have you tried lifting it in and out but? I can imagine that being a tad of a challenge.

No not lifting it @Aussiekraut, I gave this a bit of thought before buying it.

‘So I’m going to fill it from my 2 cubes with my racking cane whilst it’s in the fridge so no lifting.

‘Then when fermented I’ll rack it out to my kegs, so no grunt work required.

‘That’s my theory behind it so hope it works, my racking cane is pretty good so fingers crossed. 🤞

Kolsch still cranking after 6 days probably the slowest yeast I have ever used and took a while to get going. I think I can smell a little bit of banana maybe clove never made a Kolsch so will be interesting!

A few more pics.

‘I’m dry hopping with a magnet as I will be away working so my lovely wife only has to take the magnet off to dry hop.
30 mins after pitching its now fermenting !!

start pressure fermenting mate  and  get a 2 inch bong   for the fermzilla   perfect way to dry hop  as it all can be done oxygen free the wife can still  drop the hops when ready as all she has to do is turn the butterfly valve

but beer looks good mate

Hey @ozdevil, I watched the video on the hop bong, looks the go but can’t get any dimensions on it ?
‘As I have the 60 L i am nearly at the lowest point in my all fridge to fit the fermenter so if it’s taller than 150mm ( which I think it is ) it may not fit.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

trust me  on the gen4 its going to be worth the wait mate.

shipping from china to Australia is the killer    i am looking at getting one myself but i am still happy to wait.  the gen4 35l is a gem to brew with

but word of warning though as the deadspace is less in the gen4 's then the 3.1.1's   scorching can be a issue so you need to make sure the grain bed has got good flow through when recirculating
