Stomping Ground Big Sky Hazy Pale, comes in a six pack (as opposed to a four pack) so has the advantage of more beer per lobster

Dug into Steve's Cool Booze's bargain bin again and got some goodies and the lucky dip was a winner (unlike the useless GABS pack).

Akasha Canada Bay XPA was nice easy drinking, their description says it all.

The Grifter was absolutely delicious

The Batch Choc Chilli Stout had an interesting flavor but lacked body and head retention

The Akasha Oatcream IPA was a bit too sweet for my liking but still highly enjoyable

Went to docklands and to some arcade thing  with nephew who is over from tassie ,but way to crowded for me and I wanna punch somen pellick becuase they just get in ya way and don't allow people to flow through

So I said to Mrs Oz  had enough I am going for a walk   , well didn't walk to far   craft brewery you bueaty  urban alley brewery

1st drink on the menu  urban alley rolling fog hazy ipa  and nice relaxing beer  full of hop flavour  and bitterness  I could sip on this all day

While just having alook at the amount of beers on the decal  I was impressed with the young bloke who served me took 5 minutes out of his day to chat about the beer styles and find my beer choice but I rather choose myself .  But very knowledgeable lad

Next beer the glacier West coast ipa  from urban alley brewery   this is better then the hazy ipa and I am huge fan of hazes  but still love wcipa's as well

Flavour and aroma from the new world hops is great bring a  smooth flavour

I am tipping neutron was one of the hops used in this beer and it's sensational  the fruity flavours are well balanced with this beer.

At 16 pint versus a cub carlton draught or vb on tap at same price  craft beer at urban alley is going to be a winner

A sneaky move indeed OD & you are trying to tell us you didn't know the Brewery was there.🤣

I agree it beats the hell out of walking around an Arcade.

I visited a Family-owned SA Liquor shop: Fassina Liquor Stores, they have 6-7 stores in Adelaide- 3 or 3 close to me & they often have discount craft sections & I picked these up for $3.00 each.

First of the rank, FESTBIER HEFWEIZEN, first pour I was hit with banana , clove, citrus aromas & it is a little fruity but I found it too sweet despite its4.8%ABV.

3rd Tasting, FESTBIER HELLES, the pick of the bunch still at 4.8% ABV but a clear winner - a nice pale lager, low hop bitterness with fresh toasted malt aroma & flavour & delicate herbal hop notes.

It is my birthday tomorrow so I will go back & find something else from the bargain corner. nice & fresh & crisp.

I am sure @Aussiekraut would know more about these than I do.

I hate beers that pour with a big sudsy looking heads, meringue foam for mine.  Big bubbles just means it isn't going to hang around for long.

Get into the stout Jenny, it is a great beer anytime,

I've got to agree with this but will add

I enjoy a Black and Tan, half beer half stout.

also worth a try.

I would rather a nice foamy head that slowly dies down over a non existing one any day of the week.

Thats why I take my own glass when I go to the neighbours, their glasses go straight in the sink with all of the dishes, sometimes even the Dishwasher. They have seen the difference in my glasses but the still won't change.

I have repeatedly harped on about this, so I won't bother to go on.

I would agree with you there, of the 3 German style beers I posted yesterday, the first one with all of the fruity, sickly additions it was the only one to lose its head quickly, the other 2 were fine.
