Popo the Reprobate
That dog looks comfy! Not too bad. Not overly hoppy or aromatic but very drinkable

The NEIPA was ok but i've had better, the Porter was sensational and the Chocolate stout was......well to me nothing like a stout and more a dark ale. I loved that NEPIA. Had it on tap at their brewery Friday

James Lao
Was at Blasta Brewing in Burswood on the weekend. IPA and stout were both outstanding! Any Perthites should check it out if in the area, well worth it! Cheers James
MitchBastard
After 34hrs In transit, I thought it would be rude not to sample some of the German cuisine immediately. The krombacher pils has my top vote. Edited July 2, 2019 by MitchBastard
MitchBastard
It’s a beautiful thing being able to buy a beer from a 7/11 and drink it in public Edited July 3, 2019 by MitchBastard
MitchBastard
Was good to have something a little hoppy after litres of pilsner over the past three days. Oharas irish pale ale and then back to regular German programming

MitchBastard
Moved to the southern region of Germany today. Found a little brew pub serving up their house pils. schlachthof bräu pils which translates to slaughterhouse brew. damn yummy. Slightly maltier than a regular pils. I ordered a second before I was half way done on the first.

Some german favourites of mine: Rothaus Pils if you're going westwards. https://www.rothaus.de/en/our-beers/rothaus-pils-en/tannenzapfle?alter=true . Best pils in the south. Also west; Alpirsbacher: good pils and export. https://www.alpirsbacher.de/en/our-beer/alpirsbacher-klosterbraeu.html Also if going east, try Andechs Weizen. https://andechs.de/en/brewery/ This is my favourite Weizen. Lots of banana in this summery monk brewed beer. I wish you a nice holiday in the land of beer! 2

James Lao
Inspirational story at Blasta too - another homebrewer turned professional. Good food and good beers, shame about the 18 can cartons though, can’t bring myself to ever buy a carton that hasn’t got 24 cans / bottles in it! Good to see the place is doing well though! MitchBastard
Adding one more notch on the beer belt. (Physically and figuratively) decent drop. Had 2. A decent amount of yeast was left over in each bottle. Had a whiff of the sediment......can confirm it was fermented using a wet dog. Still yum tho 1
Hilltop hops
Not beer but a mate bought a bottle of Proper 12 Irish Whiskey around. Tried it on the rocks and really enjoyed it. Wasn't expecting much with Conor McGregor being involved!
