Absolutely not a pinch on whatever they were serving up in Oz at the same time. They were two distinctly different beers in my opinion. Working there recently (before Covid) the folklore of Fosters still lingers.....they still think that's all we Aussies drink. . They do, also they think kangaroos roam the streets

Red devil 44
Well it was my birthday yesterday, so look what turned up on the doorstep this morning, courtesy of my lovely wife. She definitely is a keeper, only downside was she tested positive for COVID yesterday afternoon and is as sick as and Isolating So I guess over the next few days I will be doing some beer reviews, unless I get bloody COVID, so far so good. 7

Red devil 44
First one from the beers I received from my packs. Capital Brewing XPA (have had this before as i fly out of Canberra regular for work, and it’s from Fyshwick, ACT) ‘This is good, bitterness spot on, citrus flavours coming through late on, nice. ‘I’d give this a 9/10.

Brauhaus Fritz
After a nice morning walk to sweat out the excessive alcohol intake over the New Year period I needed some light refreshments. Firstly some juicy sweet delectable mangoes from the garden, Then an “Eisenbahn” Session IPA or eeeepa how they say here. 4.6% nice fruity aromas and not too bitter. Nice easy drinking

Brauhaus Fritz
58 minutes ago, beach_life said: No, never heard of them before this The Cashew nut grows at the end of the fruit, normally you only use the fruit or the nut, which if you bite into it when it’s on the fruit numbs your mouth. The fruit is quiet sour and a bit astringent, but nice as a juice mixed with apple juice or cachaça ( Brazilian rum) Cajá is another fruit from the north east of Brasil, quit sour as well. As well as the beer was a sour the added fruits were sour too, yummy 1

Classic Brewing Co
I helped a neighbour out with a keyboard/mouse, a few asst USB cords & helped him to revamp his tired old computer, he knows about as much as do about brain surgery. He insisted on paying me so I said a 6x pack of Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen would be fine. He returned with this one, but it is still delightful, so lovely & clean & so, so clear. Prost QUOTE: Schöfferhofer Kristallweizen is sparkling and clear. In contrast to our naturally cloudy wheat, the yeast is completely filtered out here. This is how this wheat specialty gets its characteristic crystal-clear appearance. Enjoy the crystal-clear tingling - with Schöfferhofer Kristallweizen! https://www.schoefferhofer.com/
