Sweet and malty with a hint of dried fruit. The typical Clive flavour typical for Bavarian wheat beers is present but much more subtle. A nice beer but at 12% abv, something best consumed in moderation. I have had some of their beers & they are nice, haven't had that one - I get a headache just looking at it

That looks like a great place for German Beer, I assume it online ordering only. I have these 2 before & they were on special at Liquor Land 3 for $12.00. I think that's what they used to brew for the Oktoberfest, when they still did. Tap 7 is the original. Back in the day, there was only Schneider Weisse, none of this Tap stuff Yes, the place is online order but apparently there is a warehouse purchases can be picked up. Since they're on the north side of town, I opted for the $5 postage for 6 bottles.

It's a bloody lovely drop. Can confirm drinking a few of these at the schneiderweisse brewhouse in munich at the end of the night and you wake up at a tram stop with your wife yelling at you. 1

Aussiekraut
Munich Helles. Not much to say. Clean, crisp, slightly malty with moderate bitterness. Great for a hard earned thirst so to speak
Aussiekraut
Whilst we’re at it, a Baltic Tripel from Insel Brauerei. A bit like a Belgian tripel but easier to drink. High in alcohol as you’d expect but it feels lighter. Not bad. Edited October 25, 2022 by Aussiekraut

Classic Brewing Co
According to the Sierra Nevada Instagram page this is the original Pale Ale recipe from 41 years ago. Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada apparently still oversees operations today.

Aussiekraut
Round 3 of the German yummies. This time, a Früh Kölsch. I’m not the biggest Kölsch fan but unlike Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, I wouldn’t call it dishwater And of course it is the wrong glass.
Classic Brewing Co
It is always a trying time when you have just kegged a new brew, the wait - but at least I have something decent to drink for a couple of days. I always have a few assorted bottles of home brew in stock, but I like to try a keep a few in reserve.

stquinto
Quite keen on these, a bit maltier than my normal tipple (and often a lot more expensive but these were on offer)
stquinto
Now for an Orval. I made a clone of this 8 months ago, should try one soon. I did try one a month ago but it was far from mature

Aussiekraut
This time it is just the regular Aventinus Weizen-Doppelbock. More manageable but still quite heavy. I do prefer regular strength Weizen tbh. Edited October 28, 2022 by Aussiekraut
