20.00 g          Mosaic (HBC 369) [10.30 %] - Boil 20.0 min
0.50 Items       Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15.0 mins)
20.00 g          Mosaic (HBC 369) [10.30 %] - Steep/Whirlpool  20
1.0 pkg          Safale American  (DCL/Fermentis #US-05)

Looks awesome Shamus, that recipe looks great, but I note you have elected to lower the ABV.

Yeah, I did not want something so punchy as a 7.2% beer.  So, initially I dropped the Dextrose out of the recipe altogether and planned to only brew 23 litres.  Then I decided to take it up to 27 litres.  I then reintroduced 350g of the 1kg of Dextrose in the original Coopers version to try to keep it around 6%.

OK, that makes sense, I look forward to your appraisal on the end product.

Brew day is not until Thursday, but picked up all the ingredients before Easter.

AG ‘Sierra Nevada Clone, a nice 3.5%.
‘Also picked up a keg swap & go style which is an International Premium Lager, waiting for the other keg to blow and then I’ll hook this one up, just sitting patiently in the other fridge currently. 😬😬

Looking good Shamus, would love to try some when it's ready, I did two versions of the ROTM. one with Coopers, one with Morgans, one with Roasted Barley and one with Chocolate Malt. Brewed them in August '21 and still have some bottles left. Aging beautifully

I picked up this All Grain Kit for the weekend - AMERICAN PALE ALE

Got it on special for $35.00, I will see how the Brew Father app works this time, at least I can get the water right.

I have had this before; it is a great brew.

Had to postpone my brew day today until tomorrow.

‘I’ve been working away pulling 12 to 13 hr days for 14 days straight, well it caught up with me last night as I blacked out and fell face first into my pavers out the back. (no not drunk).

‘Nothing too serious just a bit of bark off my nose & forehead.
‘Bit sore today so hopefully will be right to brew my AG Sierra Nevada Clone tomorrow.

Converting the kitchen & getting the equipment ready for Brew Day, a bit of cleaning & sanitising to do but that's all part of it.

In case you are wondering the Brew Zilla doesn't sit on the table, it sits on the metal stand on wheels & I assemble a step-up platform with milk crates & heavy planks for sparging.

Nothing too serious? Blacking out! I'd be inclined to visit the doctor just to be sure. Look after yourself, RD.
