Yes, they are nice, I have had them before, I don't officially collect cans but there are a few on display, or is it clutter? To be honest, I'm not that enamoured with the beer itself. I bought them by mistake, confusing them with Heineken, which I'd had before and enjoyed. It wasn't until I started drinking them I realised my error.

Yes, I would rather have the Heineken.

Coming back from Bali we had a long stopover in Adelaide, went to the Central Markets and to the “Earl of Aberdeen”, the Coopers Ale House (sorry, no photos). Got a Sparkling Ale from the tap, which was very nice and refreshing. Followed by a ‘23 Vintage Ale and to top it all of a 2020 Vintage Ale. (All from the tap). Oh my god it was so good. Aromas of plum and port and it was soooo smooth.

Looks like you had a nice time @Brauhaus Fritz. Thanks for the updates and photos. I've enjoyed your travel photos and stories over the last year or so immensely Edited January 21 by Popo the Degenerate 3

In Sydney I only find Pale Ale on tap.
Kegory
A few recent IPAs New Dawn, a low carb that slipped through undetected. The hops almost, but not quite, saved it. Zytho Brewing Dan's shelves are packed with these. I'm not sure why. Golden Path Hazy Better. Bentspoke Crankshaft Best of this lot.

Dan's shelves are packed with these. I'm not sure why. They are a lot of them are made exclusively for Woolworths & Coles - The Endeavour Group & Pinnacle Drinks are largely responsible; I usually find about one in ten makes it for me.

It doesn't matter anyway, if the beer doesn't do it the red wine with the food will, have a good day mate. 2

Ive seen my share of the inside of a Paddy Wagon

A mate of mine used to work at the Hope brewery/winery and brought a mixed case of several different options of those super strong varieties that were gonna get chucked because the cans were dented or labels damaged etc (and couldn’t sell) to my bucks event before I got married. That was a good weekend they are punchy as HECK!

Ive seen my share of the inside of a Paddy Wagon Yeah, I know the drill, I could tell some stories about the times spent in an overnight cell in some of my escapades in the early days, I smacked an off duty copper once in Longreach over a dart game. It ended up with me being escorted out of town by the local constabulary, I look back on it now & just laugh. I drink now for enjoyment. 2
iBooz2
Technically not 2024 tastings so please forgive me. Just a short time ago I was in @Triple B Brewing's front yard and sampled some beers and tucker at Shelter Brewing. I was the designated driver (out of the two of us ) so I had to be careful with my tastings volume. Salt and Pepper Chilli Squid was good as was the Prawn, Garlic and Chilli pizza washed down with a couple of Pale Ales. HSSH had a Rosé or three and she also loved the place. Was a perfect summers day and we walked the length of the very long pier both out to the very end and back so were in need of some refreshments once back on the shore.
iBooz2
Now down at Margaret River Brewing, where else but ....... I drank many pints of their Kolsch and thought at the time I should brew one these style beers. Edited January 25 by iBooz2
iBooz2
Almost forgot. Cevantes WA and the lobster shack. Loster meals were very, very small-ish and way overpriced. Their lobster lager was to me, a bit of an amateur beer and very plain, don't know where they get it from, but they need to re-think supplier or get a new brewer (just my opinion). Would have killed for a couple of glasses of my home brewed lager. Glad I was driving further south as the beers did nothing for me so drank very little. I think people who dine, and drink here do it "just" for the experience and coastal atmosphere, and of course to say they have been here, me included.
