Brauhaus Fritz
Vanilla I don't know, but the banana I could really taste. Amazing beer. My son had one with some mango in it at the German club last week, it worked really well
Classic Brewing Co
2nd go at the 6.5% Shepherd Neame Kentish Strong Ale I like it even more than the first taste (I posted last week) Pale Straw, Hoppy, Fruity, Spicy, Bitter, Hoppy, Refreshing are the brewers' however, I still get a clove aftertaste which is not unpleasant, so I will hope that my mate Stquinta may put light on this.

Shamus O'Sean
Tonight's beer Banana yeast aroma. I feel I am wishing for some clove too, but I do not think there is any there. It seems a bit dark for a Weissbier. Smooth drinking. Mild bitterness. Quite nice.

Yes, Schneider is darker than most Weissbier. What I want to know how you managed to pour it so English? No head on a Hefeweizen? 1

Any thoughts on what additions they use for the colour? The bottle just said wheat malt and barley malt.
Classic Brewing Co
This is one of my favourite German Wheat Beers apart from Weihenstephaner of course, Dan Murph's have it for $30.00 x 6pack which is OK but I usually wait until I see it on special as I do others from time to time. 5
Classic Brewing Co
I just came across these suppliers of German Beer, quite a range! https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=943112de3098cdd5JmltdHM9MTY2NDA2NDAwMCZpZ3VpZD0zZjdhY2JmMy1kZTFmLTY4ZGItMzU3NS1kOWQ5ZGY3ZjY5YjUmaW5zaWQ9NTMzMw&ptn=3&hsh=3&fclid=3f7acbf3-de1f-68db-3575-d9d9df7f69b5&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly9nZXJtYW5saXF1b3IuY29tLmF1Lw&ntb=1

When I looked for the Sheaf Stout I found this independent Bottle shop who had a huge stack of Weihenstephaner, had to try it. And then I couldn’t resist and ordered the German Box from Beercartel, and it’s October fest, so only German beer this month and maybe a stout here and there 3
Brauhaus Fritz
This is a nice drop, very light yet thick and sweet malty with a light bitterness. The lightness must be the water from the Fichtel Mountains in Upper Franconia. This one I would buy again even if I don’t need any more flip top bottles
Shamus O'Sean
Schneider Weisse - Helle Weisse Subtle banana and spice aroma. Crisper than most Weisse's but still has the wheat flavour. Mild bitterness. Very drinkable.

Rural settings are great for photos but where I live you get a good neighbour fence on the side & a view to the street, maybe I will walk down the beach & take some beer shots on the rocks - when it gets warmer
Classic Brewing Co
Now for a Stout, very satisfying on a barmy 12c night down the bay, I just checked out the BOM website, the weather for the rest of the week is cold/wind & showers - possible storm. Bring on the Summer

I gave her $5.00. 1
Brauhaus Fritz
What a nice beer. My wife describes them as being very light, even so all their beers are over 5%. It is the feeling when the liquid hits your mouth, it is very light. It must be the quality of the water and nearly a thousand years of brewing experience. This one is sweet and malty with a little bitterness, even some fruitiness. Easy drinking you think. It will hit you hard if you drink too fast. Another winner
