Hilltop hops
Just now, Ben 10 said: looks good @Hilltop hops, i have 10mL of Mosaic resin i should use sometime, that stuff is brutal! Resin? Love the Mosaic. Did a brew similar not long ago with 50g less hops and it was a real hit with everyone that tried it.

Wobbly74
Brewed a double batch of German pils on Sunday. 56L boil in my 58L Keggle was rather...full. Fermcap seemed to do the job though. Bit of a bottom of the freezer hop selection so will be interesting to see what comes off it My mash basket is a little small so ended up doing a reiterated mash, mashing in thin to begin with and doing 2x 12L sparges. Ended up getting nearly 90% mash efficiency so overshot my target OG so had to top up with boiling water at the end of the boil and ended up with 50L into the cubes... porschemad911
Brewed up my partial mash English IPA last night. Mashed 300g Simpson's Maris Otter and 1kg Voyager Compass malt for 90 mins. Ran off and boiled with: 25g EKG @60 mins 50g EKG @5 mins 75g EKG @flameout Stirred in a Mexican Cerveza tin and 300g LDM with the flameout hops. After steeping the flameout hops for 15 mins I dumped my big hop spider into the mash tun for cleaning this morning and the kettle is cooling off to pitching temp now. There was a lot of multitasking with housework, but everything went very smoothly. EKG is such a good hop, the whole house smelt phenomenal! I should get about 12l of 1.075 OG and 95 IBU wort in the fermenter tonight. Will dry hop with another 75g EKG once fermentation is dying down. Otto Von Blotto
Brew day today, last one in this house. I'll post the recipe when I go to the computer next but it's just a lager beer with Hallertau Mittelfrüeh early/late and Saaz late. Just heating up to mash out now. The wort will be fermented once we get set up in the new place next month.

Smashed Crabs
Bottling my toucan Cerv and Diablo IPA, decided I will put down a Russian Imperial Stout but am upping the fermentables a tad since I got so much sitting around. SMOTY might go in the other FV. Iv got 100grams of Fuggles was thinking of using em on the stout but will the hop flavors be lost to the strong stout flavor ? Otto Von Blotto
Probably. They might go alright in the smoty ale though.
Smashed Crabs
Soooooo RIS is down .. only made up to 15 litres... Tried to take a reading lol. Threw in a little extra Dex and a little maltodextrin from a Coopers Brewing Sugar Pack but hopefully the 10 litres head room is enough 🤣.

Long time, but for this beer, takes it from ordinary to sensational. Good luck with keeping your eyes off it.
Naughty Corner Brewing
Put down a Dr Smurto’s Golden Ale this afternoon from extract with 100gm steeped medium crystal.. Projected OG of 1.040 and nailed it. Been trying to get time to put this down for a week! Used my collected yeast from my pacific ale (US05) so going to see if it takes off. If not I have a backup US05 in the fridge.
