In theory it sounds OK, but I am not really into sours either, but Chili & Pineapple doesn't cut it for me, on a pizza yes.

Ha ha don’t start the pineapple pizza debate again ☹️

I’m a member of the Stone & Wood club and every month they send me some tasters.

This months is a Spicy Margarita Sour 2 pack, now I don’t really have a choice what they send me and I don’t get into Sours but this is not bad at all.

Certainly smell & taste the margarita in it, aftertaste has a coconut style kick to it, not overly spicy or sour though.

7% ABV (only have the one).

But not bad, I’ll give it a 7/10

Sours with a few other bold flavours can temper the sour taste quite a bit and make them very nice.  Me, I have no objection to a straight up sour or a sour infused with other flavours too.  That one reads lovely.

It’s worth a try @Shamus O'Sean

An interesting old pub in Belfast. Decent Guinness too.
@Classic Brewing Co , everyone here says it makes a difference about which pint is the best, and which pour is the best etc, but so dar they’ve all been good. But it probably helps that it’s a genuine Paddy pulling the pints. I’ve had some shocking pints served to me in London by random nationalities, but if the management don’t teach them properly it’s not their fault

Yes, I agree, I have never been to Ireland, but I have visited enough Irish Pubs over the years.

There certainly is an art to achieve the perfect pour. ☘️

SIX STEPS FOR THE PERFECT GUINNESS POUR

  1. Select a cool, beer-clean, branded Gravity Glass.
  2. Holding the glass at a 45-degree angle to the tap, open the tap fully by bringing the handle all the way down toward you.
  3. As the beer fills, adjust the glass to an upright position, closing the tap when the beer reaches the top of the gold harp on the front of the glass.
  4. Allow the beer to settle fully until the entire pint is a consistent color throughout (it takes about 90 seconds).
  5. Top up the beer by pushing the tap handle away from you until the beer is just proud of the rim of the glass. The total head height should be between one-half to three-quarters of an inch, or 12-18 mm.
  6. Serve the glass with the Guinness logo facing toward the guest.

For Merri Mashers 10th Birthday celebrations, Part II (family & friends)

Plus a number of other beers but sans photos.

Part I on Saturday was a longer and more raucous event but I shall not to posting any photos from that. There may be some on the Merri Mashers Farcebook page.

Yeah, I nearly did but I want to use up some grain I have in stock, so I will concentrate on that.

Didn’t plan on it either, as I wanted to do another AG brew next. But if the weather stays cooler I can ferment it in the garage, today it’s 20 degrees in there, down from 26. Will keep on monitoring the temperature.
