I’m old school though: small chip pan that hold two wine bottles of oil that I filter back in so no additions. I do a similar thing with roast spuds - after par boiling them I shake them in the pan with Colman’s mustard powder. Come out great Mmmmmmmustard powder. That sounds nice, Dave. I mmmmmmust give it a try.

Dunno if I'd go the semolina path because I'm a lazy f*c# but I recently planted a Rosemary bush which I only clip for lamb roasts. I now have another use for it. Onya mate. Hey Muzz, try this method for superb roast potatoes which is just too easy if you are lazy ha ha. I have done it several times and they are always a big hit with family and guests and they come back for more and want to know how you did them. Easy as, just par boil and crush the spuds a bit the masher then roast in oil and butter. Super crispy. You got room for a 22 ft caravan to park out the front? Just for a couple of days ha ha.

Sheeez fellas, what happened to that big ole SA hospitality. Did it die on Ocean View Road Christies Beach? Does the smell waft that far? Just looked at google earth to re-quaint myself and you can see the pipes running out into the sea where they pump the sh*t out. No wonder there is no sea weed in that area. I would have thought the opposite would have occurred re all the nutrients floating about. ha ha. Bugger it I will just fly in and park on the end of the runway or taxiway and order a pizza.

Yeah I know that. Christies Beach just came off the top of my head as I spent a lot of time there as a kid. Was talking about those sewer pipes that run out to sea from West Beach area just north of you.

It'd be rude. Oysters and a few cheeky prawns with the chook Sainter would be okay too. I love my oysters -Merry Xmas mate
