Exmouth WA scallops, not southern Australian scallops, so it was all about the 'in shell' presentation there @JoeB7  but I hear what you are saying and yes my HSH also loves my Panko crumbed, garlic scallops with the roe.  She thinks the roe is the best part, when cooked just right.

They look good Al, I can't come at the Roe but I love Scallops.

Love a good pub meal. Dropped into my local today first time in ages. Cost of beer is ridiculous. $8.50 for a SA pint of Coopers.

I was down at Jetty Road Glenelg (just down from me) & at the Jetty Hotel they are $8.90 & at the Pier $9.70 eff that, no wonder we brew our own. When I can be bothered the Watermark have all day happy hour $6.00 Pints Saturday & Sunday, now they have taken Coopers of the list, so it doesn't make me want to go to the Pub in a hurry.

Road trip to Venice for two nights. Still a six hour drive. Local speciality tapas-style things, and a campari spritz. Then for dinner some octopus then squid-ink tagliatelle. Wouldn’t want to be wearing light-coloured clothes 😳

Turns your teeth black as Hell’s doorknocker, wouldn’t order than on a first date

Mate I love your trip, photos - awesome but I couldn't come at Suid Ink Pasta 😬 why spoil a good pasta.

Enjoy mate, looks fantastic & as you know each to their own.

Yeah, I’m with you on that one Phil. It’s an acquired taste and I haven’t acquired it yet so it won’t be added to my repertoire. I just wanted to try it as it’s a local specialty. Just tasted, well, fishy, with a few black slivers of cuttlefish meat (a kind of squid according to google translate). 
Done now, normal service will be resumed!

Wonderful stuff - over here suckling pig is quite popular amongst Italians and Portuguese, but that looks more of a Babe 🤣

Love the seafood, just love it. More than steak. Alright, ideally surf’n’turf…
