I only checked Uncle Dan's and FirstChoice and neither had any sign of it. 1

The major retailers have sort of worked their way around them by putting a wall between the groceries and the booze.

I have been reading about Aldi pushing to have the law amended/changed as their legal department have found a loophole & are trying for the government to allow SA stores to have equal rights as other states, whether it goes through or not is unknown.
Beerdo
The liquor laws might be trifling for the consumer and personally I'd like to be able to do a one stop shop but I worry about the supermarket staff encountering drunken, antisocial behaviour. Unfortunately it does happen and I think it's unfair for a pimply faced kid in their first job having to deal with such situations.

I agree, I have encountered some folk from the local Hotels on Jetty Road, Glenelg after a session finding their way into Coles/Woolworths etc. all hissed up & generally creating havoc in the store, unfortunately some are protected so no/little action is taken. There is also the brazen shoplifting taking place in front of you. It is probably better the way it is as in most places especially rural. As for me the bottle shops/pubs are all over the place & close, so it doesn't bother me either way.

Kegory
Cerveza Negra My favourite of the local mass produced brews, a malty, chocolatey dark lager. Crowned best beer in Asia a few times, not for export apparently. Similar to Kozel dark. The view from the CR 1
ozdevil
Hey All another beer from a favourite brewery Brewery = Fox Fridays name = Burning Daylight Style = Red Ipa ABV % = 6.0 This brewery has not failed me in its beers what so ever , it has come close on 1 stage This beer is wow for a red ipa, its darker then i was thinking it would be for such a low abv from the style they chose as normally they are 8% and above for there great beers I could sit and watch the footy with this beer as it is quite sessionable noy heavy on the abv the maltiness and toffee flvour and colour is to kill for and the hoppy aromas are true delights Totally enjoyed this beer

Pale Man
Not normally a cider drinker but this hits the spot on a warmish day. At 8% it tickles the brain cells

Kegory
Crazy Carabao IPA Not bad but not as good as the FIPA in Adriatico St earlier in the week. At Hops & Brews Beer Garden Might have to come back for a tasting paddle, or an extended session. The menu looks pretty good too, including a BBQ smoke garden. Not tonight, though, scuba tomorrow morning
Kegory
Crazy Carabao Pale Ale in the Smoke Garden Just met the part owner who introduced me to some guys from the best (?) scuba shop in town. However their boat got damaged in a storm last week.
stquinto
A new Theakston’s I found, really bland and tasteless, very disappointed Then a Ruination IPA. A bit over the top with the hops, so sharp they were fairly unpleasant. Ho hum, still finished it … 4 1
