Nah I wasn't impressed drinking out of it, I won't use it again for beer if I do at all, it was a nice gesture, but I am afraid it will sit on a shelf like many others.
Uhtred Of Beddanburg
Used to be one of my favourite German beers that is almost impossible to get here now. Done a bit of ebay shopping last week. A few others have arrived but this was the main one I was waiting for.

Cheers Jenny, like I said I don't need any of it, but I like supporting them as all the proceeds are donated to charity. In this day & age I think we are all lucky if we have a roof over our head, a warm bed & able to eat properly. Who knows maybe one day they may get it all back again when I am jostling around on a walking frame But they won't, I love my Bar & Tap Room too much. 1

When you got a bar to hold on to, who needs a walking frame? 1
Classic Brewing Co
THE GLASSMAN STRIKES AGAIN Well not really, I got a phone call from the Op-Shop to tell me they had some beer glasses put aside for me, I gave them my number some time ago & now they let me know when they have beer/bar stuff. I don't need any more, but I am a sucker when I see quality stuff like this out for grabs for $3.50. 3

No, not pewter. They were on the shelf with the Coopers logo facing in. I saw them and thought nah I don't want pewter mugs. Then picked one up and realised it's actually stainless steel, and then turned it around to see the logo. I checked online and someone wanted $40 for one, but I think that was boxed. I sometimes check ebay if I find an interesting glass. It's always RARE, and generally $20-$40. But of course you've got to find someone willing to pay that. Classic Brewing Co
SHOW US YER BEER GLASSES Let's see how many beer glasses you have got; this is most of my collection & some say I have too many but isn't that what a collection is? There are more but I thought this would do for a starter, I know some of you have some really nice ones. I have nothing really exotic, but I am still happy to have them anyway.
jennyss
How often do you dust the lovely glasses @Classic Brewing Co?

The answer is @jennyss not often enough, but I usually do 1-2 shelves at a time, by the time you have finished it's time to start on the first ones. I still have some in boxes & also there are a selection of different sizes in the bar fridge. I have more wine/shot/liqueur/champagne/whisky/port/sherry glasses in a glass cabinet in the dining room, so I aren't short of any. 1

Graculus
I was in Vinnies on Monday. There were two or three steins. And some of those china beer mugs too. I gave them a miss though. I wasn't really sure if I wanted them or not. I'm trying to be more choosy, as I really think I've got enough. It'll have to a special glass to tempt me. The place I go to mainly (out of habit) is a Lions Club Bazaar which is an enormous place near me who receive goods from donations, deceased estates etc. I have given them stuff from time to time as they handle everything from A-Z. I just can't resist when I see branded beer glasses, promo gear & lot of it is still new, I should stop as it is becoming ridiculous to keep buying more but it is never anything expensive - & $ 2 -5, so really, I just look at as a donation as all of the profits go to charity. All I am doing is cluttering up my mancave. 2

There was a boxset of the ABC TV series Seachange there. It's a family favourite. It was $8 and I only had a $10 note. I told the young lady to keep the change I've put the DVD's on the bookshelf. It'll get watched in the winter. Edited February 1, 2023 by Graculus
