Classic Brewing Co
THE GLASSMAN STRIKES AGAIN I called into the local Lion Club Bazaar this morning & spotted these 9 x Heineken glasses for 50c each. The 6 smaller one's top shelf to the left & the 3 larger ones on the drip tray with the engraving in the glass. Just a few more to try & find room for
jennyss
Hi @Classic Brewing Co aka Glassman, I am hoping that you and others can give me some advice on what are the proper style of glasses to drink with different beers. I just have one middy glass in the classic beer shape, and lots of wine glasses which I don't use anymore! I have seen some of the Coopers Community photos of beer in a glass with a stem. I thought I would ask before I go prowling around our Dubbo op-shops. Edited January 15 by jennyss

Hi Jennny, Attached is a simple chart showing shapes & type of beer to drink it in. 1

Classic Brewing Co
@jennyss Here is some interesting about choosing the right glass for different kinds of beer, some folks don't seem to think it matters but a true beer connoisseur will agree. My opinion is that it makes a tremendous difference & as you know, I have many different beer shapes & sizes. https://www.anchorbrewing.com/stories-videos/proper-beer-glassware/

I think I'll look out for a couple of tulip glasses with nice strong stems. Or I could just re-purpose some of my wine glasses, although these hold a lot less beer than a middy.

You can use those Jenny, I do from time to time, I quite often drink a Stout from a brandy balloon glass & a Pale Ale from a long stemmed, pilsner style glass.
Classic Brewing Co
A butcher shop I go to has a Salvos next door & I called in & saw these 6 beauties for $5.00. I certainly don't need them but they are in the collection now. 3

Red devil 44
Found a mob online that deals in German Beers & Glasses. German Liquor Specialists, not sure where they are in Oz, some nice glasses though. @Classic Brewing Co, you may find this is up your alley. Yes mate, I have looked at that before, their prices are too high & then you have shipping costs, free on orders over $300, also no shipping to WA/NT/TAS & it's Australia Post so it would take a while & then you have to consider breakages. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking them, but I did enquire a while ago. They still have some mean looking glasses though. Cheers. https://germanliquor.com.au/

I think I bought some beer from them before and if I am not very much mistaken, they are somewhere on the north side of Brisbane.

I think you are right; I spoke to them ages ago about different types of glasses but there is no address on their website, just a mobile no: I didn't want to pay their prices plus shipping & insurance as I am in Adelaide.
