Classic Brewing Co
Here is another version of what I am going to build for raising the Malt Pipe for sparging. I just need to buy a Pulley from Bunnings. I just found a better photo showing the pulley. Edited March 29, 2023 by Classic Brewing Co

Mate in the serious world of home brewing they have to be told that you need the kitchen area for your beer making so they have to adjust. Seriously I live by myself so I can do what I want.

NBillett09
@Classic Brewing Co I’ve seen them online, I gather you can even stack a couple on top of each other, looks like a great way to gradually ramp up production if you’re heading that way before having to buy a whole bigger BZ!

You would have to also buy new extended the malt pipe the new malt pipe which is a further $80. So at the end of the day, it going to be higher, but the "feet' are at the 300ml level. It would get to the stage that you would have to place the boiler on the ground or install a winch. https://www.kegland.com.au/brewzilla-35l-g3-extended-malt-pipe-for-boiler-extension-stainless-steel.html

Classic Brewing Co
I just ordered a new Heat Belt; it is amazing the different brands & they all look like they have come from the same place! When it comes to price that is even worse, I have several LHBS close to me that sell them for $20-30, Keg Land sell them for $11.00 plus freight, but I decided to go eBay as I have been ordering a lot from them lately & their prices & service is very good. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/382926712091?epid=22021958961&hash=item592835ed1b:g:ko8AAOSwYT1g5DSO&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4Ma02j7ooPgoE%2BYefzh%2FMHhDLZR1Zrnm6jJbfC1DqaLAaM0s0Ee5I59DmVbjDqxTFBDsyGnH%2F9JJGK9MENQQ3szTkmCZh6ZwO%2BLhZU9Ub4pbGuslhpokQaFX%2FWZps9q5JZPZ8X9kGh%2FFwYW%2BAD2%2FAe7N8LZXkj%2B7zpn0OVbAAw0R96e8eCsQBIFu0cym4GxgQpZCq9IDEb%2BmSdhr11ozXCkaHVgzrtP%2Fn4sJcmrhJPYFELgbOMz4PcFlcgHnC04ZYDTsX5kjtvALaiiNm1DbSLTSxtGLvw0k1JiZXLoSBeR8|tkp%3ABFBMvsKz9pZi

Order them by the pallet, package them up and sell them off for whatever price you can get for them. The fancier the packaging the bigger the price. I got two from Kegland. And then another two after discovering that I needed two on the 23L fermenter just to combat the overnight lows.
Classic Brewing Co
Here's a great idea for shipping bottles to share, competitions etc. Just tape up & whack it in a post bag. You could probably stand the upright in a box for travelling too.

Classic Brewing Co
I just received the new Heat Belt from eBay, it was supposed to have a free horizontal temperature strip, but I didn't get it, you can't ring them, but I will send them an email.

Hoppy81
Well then, first brewday with the new equipment, was like learning all over again haha. This has enabled me to double my output with roughly the same amount of time apart from heating times now take twice as long. Been interesting working out how I empty the mash tun without breaking my back but worked out in the end.....good times
kmar92
Hey @Hoppy81 that is a mad setup! Very impressive. You are obviously using LPG for heating of the mash tun, etc but how are the burners mounted, can't really see them in the photo's? 1
GregT5
Very nice set-up @Hoppy81. And by the look of that beer, very fast at knocking out a brew!

Thanks mate. 3 x lpg 4 ring gas burners, I'm waiting for a gas plumber to install proper gas pipework from out of the shed with a 100lb bottle, so the little 9kg bottles had to do today. Get a 90kg bottle, you will need it for that setup. The 90kg bottle can be tanker filled also which is a lot more convenient.

Tricky Micky
https://cheekypeakbrewery.com.au/70ltr-nano-brewery-304ss-brew-kettle-triple-base-pot/ Wow. I wonder if this unit has a malt pipe etc. And interestingly the blurb mentions induction cooking is okay. Is there a 2300 watt (10 amp) portable induction cook plate big enough to accommodate this kettle I wonder? It'd be a lot cheaper than running conventional electric set ups or even the LPG gas burner fired brew kettles- at least according to a quick search on the internet....... https://byo.com/article/induction-brewing/ Edited July 29, 2023 by Tricky Micky
