CRAFT BEER VENUES

Classic Brewing Co

Recommended Posts

Have any of you fellow 'Adelaidians' ever heard of or been to http://www.ladyburrabrewhouse.com.au/ ?  I spoke to a mate of mine who stumbled across it whist in the city.

A few of us are going in for a session/pizza etc, obviously no driving - I can walk to the tram stop & it's about a 15 minute ride into the city.

Life is too short to drink light beer !!

A very timely thread Phil @CLASSIC,

I was just about to ask on this forum if any SA -mites (did not want to use the term Crow Eaters) know of any great craft brewery's and related food places and things to visit on our trip to SA next month.  Would have loved to do the Coopers Brewery tour but that is shut until C19 is less of a risk.  Don't know if they will re-open it by then or not.

Planned track:

Melbourne, Port Fairy, Port MacDonnell, Beachport, Port Elliot, (maybe I should take up drinking port instead of beer ha ha.) Hahndorf, Nuriootpa, up to the Flinders Ranges.

Probably be spending about 1 week in Adelaide area / surrounds as I have not been there for many years and a couple or a few nights in all the other spots depending on whats there to take in and enjoy.  Basically a SA pub crawl with a caravan.

Back via Morgan, Berri, Mildura.

Cheers - AL

@iBooz2  Sounds like fun, There really are some great venues around - in some of the regions you mention you will find them.

Unless you already know about it there is a Coopers Alehouse at Gepps Cross & another in the City.    www.coopersalehousegeppscross.com.au

www.wilkadene.com.au   would be a must visit 68 Wilkinson Road, Murtho SA 5340  right on the river, awesome just go through Renmark/Paringa & Mr Google will take you there.

I sure you will find something that suits you,  & I wish you a safe & enjoyable trip.

Cheers

Phil

Did a Foodi craft beer walking tour in Adelaide a while ago. One of the stops was  the Ladyburra brewery. Good beers and  food.  @iBooz2 if you're spending a bit of time in Adelaide,  Bigshed brewing down near Port Adelaide is worth a look and if you're going that way  you could try Pirate Life in Port Adelaide.  Going through Nuriootpa and the Barossa Valley you could try Barossa Valley Brewing in Tanunda and Greenock Brewers in Greenock. Both worth a visit.
