I do not mind them for serving and that they prevent accidentally leaving a tap open.  However, when it comes to cleaning time, they are a pain.  I removed mine in the end because I like to pump cleaner through several beer lines at once.  I just start the pump and open the taps and leave them open for the cleaner to flow.  I cannot do that with spring-loaded taps.

Yeah, definitely understand that. I'd prefer that nuisance than losing a keg though haha
