James Lao
Got some at Ikea yesterday for $3 each. They are similar to the Stella Artois glasses (and the one pictured above with the stem), not sure what the proper name for these are. It’s like when you are a kid and get new shoes and can run faster in them - my beer looks and tastes way better in these new glasses! Have bought all my beer glasses from there, they are usually $2-3 and good quality, considering you can pay $20 for a glass I reckon it’s good value from the Swedes. King Ruddager
This one? https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/70396309/ I have a few Ikea glasses, but the dishwasher has left them all cloudy and yucky
James Lao
Yep that’s the one mate the Storsint! None of my beer glasses go in the dishwasher, rinsed and cleaned with a little detergent and rinsed again. Every now and then they get a bath of sodium percarbonate. Cheers James
Hairy
I have a heap of fancy glasses but at the moment I’m really liking these cheap ones I bought from Coles for Australia Day.

Rehab is going slower than expected and I am now wearing some form of medieval tourture device to get movement back. It’ll get there, just slowly.

Yes mate these things take time and when yer not a spring chicken anymore somehow it takes even longer. Good luck with that mate. So what was that brew in the Aussie Day glasses - if you are not back brewing - get a keg from Rusty P? Hairy
That was a beer I made months ago but fermented in Jan. It was in the cube for a few months. I also have a kit beer with Kveik on tap.

Hmm, I wonder if sodium perc would clean up some of mine Still, I have plenty of others that travel just fine in the dishwasher, including other Ikea ones come to think of it Edited February 3, 2020 by King Ruddager
yab
Thanks all - I was up in Sydney on the weekend and ended up grabbing two boxes of the Spiegelau tulips from Peters. Happy ending all round. 1

I use 8% vinegar - Coles sell it these days. A mild acid it cleans up glassware nicely.
