I might have a go at Chicken Kiev at the weekend If nothing else Sainter me ol' mate, you've inspired me to have a crack at a stroganoff - remembering the late seventies early eighties like they were yesterday. I can't believe I'm divulging this - but the Ex bride and I went vego in the early eighties for a few years, okay she did and I followed (we all know the drill - right?) and there was this hideous Sanitarium product in a can - vegetarian beef chunks for makin a vego stroganoff......absolutely shizenhousen . I used to go to friends BBQ's back then and whilst cooking I used to weep all over my char grilled tofu while salivating and watching the others flame grilling their incredibly beautiful steaks. Life wasn't meant to be easy, but fair dinkum that was cruel. The Ex and myself lasted 3 long years - I succumbed one night at a Chinese restaurant - went AWOL. Ordered the biggest serve of sizzling beef in black bean sauce - the Ex missus was horrified! Never recovered. Fell completely off the wagon.

I think I'll get a couple of these. I had a couple of pizza stones, granted they were cheapies ($25 ea) from BigW , but they both cracked under heat in the Weber. I can't bring myself to buy Weber accessories ie. pizza stones. They're just too expensive for the amount of times I'd use them.

Classic Brewing Co
I had big plans tonight for dinner, heaps of choices, but I was summoned to the neighbours who were having computer problems, while they were stressing & filling my wine up , I just completed a simple update for them. They just don't get it but I am happy to help, so arriving home late it was a simple pizza. The white chunks are Barrumundi left over from last night, it was great

Classic Brewing Co Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM (edited) I just ordered a new Air Fryer from Amazon; this one has 6 functions & just one 'America' Best Air Fryer' award. Even better Amazon have it out for 1/2 price. It is a monster 5.7l & although I have enough utensils/gadgets to set up a kitchen on the Queen Mary, it will sit proudly alongside my new Pressure/Multi Cooker on the kitchen benchtop. I love bells & whistles & I am particularly interested in comparing the dehydrator function to my existing unit - for Beef Jerky https://www.amazon.com.au/Instant-Vortex-Plus-5-7L-Fryer/dp/B08LKRTR6T/ref=pd_ybh_a_d_sccl_3/357-2850307-8997342?pd_rd_w=9Nzyo&content-id=amzn1.sym.ba3746a9-e4e1-43e4-b20a-045b2f4b7b24&pf_rd_p=ba3746a9-e4e1-43e4-b20a-045b2f4b7b24&pf_rd_r=TA5Y6H2HPD0CPC5G4FSQ&pd_rd_wg=2JAFN&pd_rd_r=35a91b33-ce7f-4c43-92bc-5c8a07f04684&pd_rd_i=B08LKRTR6T&psc=1 Edited yesterday at 12:26 AM by Classic Brewing Co

I got the one with the clear front so you can see what is going on, more expensive but I like to be able to see how things are progressing.
