My own twopenn’orth is it depends on the beer brewed. FWIW I have found (AG and kits ‘n’ bits) you defo have a leave a high octane brew for several months, whereas a COPA clone will be very good pretty quickly. For some reason English bitters require more time in the keg to get the obvious home brew aroma to go.

If you can get ahead in the game with a bit of quantity (but you need more kit) it pays off in the end
