Re' 13c, you go through more of it when it's also blowing 80-90km/hr outside on the Fleurieu Coast. Yeah well, I have the sea one street away & at Glenelg North & we get our share of sea breezes.
Brauhaus Fritz
I think it’s going to be a Coopers kind of week And if we could purchase one of these glasses here in Oz it would really make my week.

ben 10
Very hoppy old school USIPA - loverly Great stout, good flavours Drank a box of Balter XPA - good stuff, easy drinking pale ale Went to Sealegs in Brissy and had a stout and an oat cream ipa and an ipa and an ESB - all superb, the pick would be the ESB - forget how good a well crafted ESB is

Kegory
Inspired by @Brauhaus Fritz, I grabbed this when I saw it in the Italian deli. Pauwel Kwak Amber. It is delicious, absolutely, but I didn't read the fine print until I was about to open it. 8.4% ABV. I might be in for an early night. 3

Brauhaus Fritz
Don’t think Coopers when you drink these. Probably even better in Summer or from the tap. Pity they don’t sell it here in NSW. Nice beer and so clear.

Kegory
Today it's a Taste Test Challenge with a difference. Inspired by @Uhtred Of Beddanburg in the Dates on Liquid Malt Cans thread, I'm putting Coopers Brewery Original Pale Ale, Best After 25/3/21 (on the left and poured first) against Coopers Brewery Original Pale Ale, Best After 21/7/22 (on the right). I don't know their respective histories before coming into my possession but they've both been sitting in boxes in my kitchen at around 15 degrees (or less at night) all Winter. The older bottle has been there longer, at least a month, maybe two, possibly three) and has certainly experienced some higher temperatures but nothing extreme in that time. The 2 and a half year old beer has lost its head (its sibling bottles still had a head when competing in a TTC against my 001) and leaves no lacing. The year and a bit old beer is a shade lighter in colour, produces a nice head and leaves a little lacing. They seem to have similar levels of carbonation and mouthfeel but the youngster may have a little more. Granny Pale has a slightly more malty aroma. The Yearling has that classic, bready COPA aroma. At top up I poured the Yearling first. I got a better head from Granny this time but the retention was poor and there was still no lacing. The Yearling retained the head, and traces of it, for longer and has some, minimal lacing. What about the bitterness? That was the original reason for The Challenge. Granny, I think, has definitely lost some. The taste, now, could be mistaken for the Sparkling Ale. The Yearling still tastes unmistakably like COPA.

Classic Brewing Co
I am out the back acting the goat - just a nice fill in while a couple of kegs are carbing. I am one street away from the beach & the sun is doing its best to shine in my yard, I can hear the surf & the seagulls, all very nice but the sea breeze is driving me back inside, it's a miserable 13c ATM so soon I will be looking forward to increasing my power bill, not. Shamus O'Sean
Fox Friday Brewing - Hurry Up and Wait - Oat Cream DIPA Ultra hazy. Ultra fruity. Double IPA. Double yum. Citrus pineapple aroma - Just like a Frosty Fruit Similar fruit flavour plus plenty of malt Bitterness is restrained Flavour is boosted by a slight alcohol note, but far from boozy Its a Manly Cruiser
