King Ruddager
Well, be bored no more! I present to you , my new YouTube channel Started off with a nice easy Toucan. I'll keep making these on various topics in a way that is hopefully kind of funny and entertaining instead of the usual tedium that you get.

Frosty Chop
I know what you mean about some of the videos out there. This however is a great idea and is really well done and if you keep it up I'm sure it will prove popular, nice job. Will you be using this thread to post the links as you produce them? King Ruddager
Yep. Next one will probably be cleaning bottles ... because that's the next thing I have to do Basically I want to make one main point in each with a few side-tracks I guess. In the toucan one I did some sanitising and measuring and stuff which didn't seem to distract too badly from the main theme ... ? I'm open to suggestions as well! Magnaman
well done Your Kingship, you obvously prefer it with no dextrose and does it ferment there on the floor? Cheers.
King Ruddager
Actually it ferments in the wardrobe, but you don't need to see me carrying it through the house into the bedroom

King Ruddager
So, I don't know if you can tell but in the first two videos I recorded the video first and then commentated afterwards, but in the hydrometer video I did the sound first and then acted along with it. I'm enjoying this Any ideas for new ones?
James
Bulk priming, dry hopping, adding a hop tea at bottling time just to name a few.

King Ruddager
Bulk priming' date=' dry hopping, adding a hop tea at bottling time just to name a few.[/quote'] Priming and hopping ... yes ... perhaps videos on different ways to do each? Ben10 - a lot of that goes on (in the first video at least, and certainly in subsequent ones) anyway.
Brownsworthy
Just had a good laugh at the idea of you in your laundry making the bottling vid with your bike helmet, strapped with a go pro or contour, on.
King Ruddager
Actually it's on the brim of a hat, but now that I think about it a helmet may indeed be better! Thanks
Brownsworthy
I use a contour and have the side mount and top mount both have plenty of adjustment to get that perfect shot.
kierank
Loved your videos, such technical terms lol easy to watch and informative. I have been making beer for a long time and still picked up a couple of tips from your videos. Do you have to sanitize the bottles after washing ? Looking forward to some more. King Ruddager
Yep, I still sanitise them before bottling
LaurieJay
Great stuff King! Wouldn't have thought of putting hot water in the cans to get the rest of the contents out. I've been using the spoon to scrape the excess out. Keep it up :)
LaurieJay
So how do you 'sanitise' the bottles? Using the Coopers Sanitizer?
Otto Von Blotto
I think he uses Starsan with his bottle vinator, but if not, correct me KR.
King Ruddager
Not Starsan, I use another no-risnse sanitiser that doesn't foam up as much, but yeah I rinse them with a vinator

King Ruddager
Any ideas for how I can both bottle-prime and bulk-prime the one batch for another video? ... ah bugger it, I'll just mention them both.
Suicid
Dude, you rock! Excellent vids, I love it alot, thanks! Still waiting for "VikingBeer.Reloaded" episode you finally 'll use the axe crushing a grains.
Otto Von Blotto
I think most people have got a handle on how to individually prime their bottles... A video on bulk priming would be useful though.
