ozdevil
2nd and maybe the final beer at hopheads yarraville Hawkers Final boss Triple west coast ipa 10.5% Wow sensational beer brought out for ipa day on Thursday such a ripper The orange flavour aromas was nice and strong and the piney residual mouth feel just worked a treat. Great use of the hops and combining with cryo hops and pellets just deviously good on aroma flavour and bitterness.

Herbal Alchemy.
If your got to pay $10 a beer these days it make perfect sense to have a beer that's 10% alcohol. (Although I suspect it's probably dearer than that). Edited August 3 by Herbal Alchemy.

The taxes are killing the small brewers and pubs are only living off the pokies. 2

Yeah, you expect to pay a premium even at around 5%, but it you can get 10% for ,$10 you have done well. 1
Brauhaus Fritz II
As I didn’t spend any money this week I thought I’ll slash out. Had one last year and thought I spoil myself again, it was worth every cent.

The cheapest Pint at Big Shed is $10 & at Glenelg the newly renovated Colly Hotel (formerly Jetty Hotel) is more, some are getting up to $15.00. 1
ozdevil
while at hopheads last night Brewery = Goodlands and Stewart Brewing collabaration beer Name = 120 Shillings beer Style = Scotch Ale Beer ABV = 12.3% this was a great beer aged in Starward Distillary whisky barrels giving a nice ruby colour with a great malt taste with aroma's of Toffee ,Scotch whisky and baked Spices and when you allowed the beer to warm it gave a great warm finish and perfect for good cold night. however this was not cheap beer as the price for this at hopheads 150ml tasting glass = $11.50 pot = $18.00 Schooner = $27.00 Pint = Not allowed due to high ABV content i rerally loved this beer its really good if you can get a can of it

Brauhaus Fritz II
Now this one is really nice. Had to fight with wifey about every drop, and she doesn’t even like dark beers. 11

Aussiekraut
This was a Japanese Black Lager from Heads of Noise. Wow, I really love that beer. The lightness and drinkability of a Japanese lager with a dark, malty backbone. Very tasty indeed. Something like this needs to make itself onto my brew schedule this one came in a stylish plastic cup to round up the experience 6
stquinto
Guinness IPA. It’s quite a decent drop although I prefer it on draught. Quite malty and not too hoppy, but if there was an American IPA I’d probably prefer it.

Some of my neighbours came over & then I enjoyed some of the high octane beers he so generously shared with me, wow, so good & strong, check out the ABV. A good night with good people, thank you so much mate. 7
