I'm sorry the details are vague because it isn't my story. He was a rep for CUB. A pub he called on changed ownership. The new owners called CUB for advice on cleaning beer lines and then duly cleaned them. Customers started going elsewhere to drink because the beer wasn't as good as it was with the old owners. I am pretty sure most of what we can buy in Australia is brewed under licence here now. Very hard to get the imported version. Nah, Steve’s Cool Booze in Maroubra is importing beers from Europe, Japan ….. When he originally opened it was right opposite Dan Murphy, so he had to specialise on something, in his case imported beers.
