Adjusting ABV on Brewfather

Recommended Posts

Howdy brewers, just trying to figure out how to change the ABV of brews in Brewfather?

I have the new S40 Grainfather, and have changed the profile to reflect that, so it naturally adjusts everything for me, whether it’s a single or double batch.

‘What I can’t seem to work out is if a beer is rated at say 5.8% ABV, and I want to make it 4% ABV, I can’t see a way in BF to adjust my Grain Bill?
Am I missing something here as I cannot see how to adjust the profile?
Cheers RD44🍺🍺

enter your orginal gravity

click scale

but you also may want to adjust hops etc   to balance it out a little

if your going to adjust a rercipe in brewfather always make a copy and adjust that rather then the original recipe

I am using the free version of BrewFather app & I am struggling with it overall even though I understand the basics & fundamental workings of it & I have also had some help setting up recipes in it. It is the order & procedures that I find tricky, last AG brew I ended up with far too much sparge water even though I followed the directions.

BrewFather keep sending me emails to save 25% on a subscription but I think for now I will pass.
