I really think I could go through Fasina or Dan Murphys and weed out 90% of beers as not acceptable. And if Hoppys were in there they'd still be standing with my weeding.

Weve known each other for quite a few years and you know I don't rate beers unless they deserve to be rated. I call a spade a spade. You deserve accolades because you've worked your ars# off for years, and your beers are bloody tasty, clean and consistent. And I'll be honest. If i have a chance to push a good beer on this forum I'll take it. So I'd advice anyone to have a crack at yours, with lots of confidence. It just happens to be a mate of mine thats worked like a Trooper with his family. Well said mate, I would agree with that.

I wish him well on his dream. 1

I said to Hoppy this would fit into my top five beers of all time if I had to try and choose. Classic IPA in my opinion. That's quite some head you got there. Aussiekraut
Took a few of these bad boys home. Admiral Ackbar from Noisy Minor Brewing, the experimental branch of Fortitude. Very malty, very hoppy and very strong Red Ale. Only one per day though.

Brauhaus Fritz
Modus Operandi Bohemian Night Dark Czech Lager. Al the flavours described on the label are there. It’s a nice drop. Only shouldn’t have had it after my AG Märzen, wich I thought was much more enjoyable. Edited September 13, 2023 by Brauhaus Fritz

Hoppy81
Not sure if I've tried the Carlsberg Pilsner before but at $16 for 4 x 500ml cans and a free glass and a Soccer ball, how could i pass it up. They are quite a nice refreshing Pilsner, especially today in Whyalla, when it's 30c. See how these others go...probably tomorrow, never tried Bowden Brewing before, looking forward to it. Cheers all Just in case you need to know. Edited September 13, 2023 by Hoppy81

Brauhaus Fritz
Thank you once again Aldi. Enjoying immensely the Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier. First I thought it’s a bit of a gimmick, but luckily I got myself a few. $4.99 for a pint, half price than at Beercartel. Only available between mid-July and end of September it’s a bottom fermented, 6.3% of deliciousness. Hercules, Perle, Magnum and Select hops and Light Barley Malt and Munich Malt. Reminds me a bit of a Märzen. Great beer, you see it give it a try

Brauhaus Fritz
This one is another beauty, also from the Aldi sale. A beautiful thick Hefe Weizen, more clove than banana but worth every cent.

Due to the increased fire danger during Spring and Summer, brewing was forbidden between the end of March and September. So the beer brewed in March, the Märzen, was the beer they served at the Oktoberfest. </>

Hoppy81
Just sipping this one now. Has a very similar taste to Big Sheds Boozy Fruit except much more bitterness and I mean much more, too much for me to have another one straight after, nonetheless, still an enjoyable IPA.
Classic Brewing Co
Thanks @Hoppy81 I called in to Fasina Liquor & picked up the 4 x 500ml pack & free glass, no Soccer Balls left so I scored an extra glass (which I really need) It is a nice Pilsner, very easy to drink. They are pretty decent glasses too. Skål
