Muddy Waters Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 It still looks the same to me...I'm feeling left out [crying]
Damien E1 Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 It still looks the same to me...I'm feeling left out [crying] Same here
Hairy Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Don't give up guys. It just magically changed for me. Just after a post saying I couldn't see the changes.
WaynoW Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Wow..... looks like a can of cream paint exploded in here! Sunnies it is [cool]
LeonardC2 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 It's a bit bright in here for me,& I'm wearing my polarized tri-focals! My clear ones broke in several pieces. Nice though...
Canadian Eh!L Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 It's PINK! Am I the only one here that has the PINK version?[annoyed] I liked it black.
Mozavitch Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Mine is black when on my home computer with Windows Internet Explorer v9 but pink with v7 at work..... I better get off before the boss sees my pink screen.
Matty A Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Just for the people that can't see the changes It is a little hard to read.
Muddy Waters Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Is this a big joke on me? [unsure] I still ain't seen nuffin!
GregT5 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Don't think of it as being left out Muddy. Think of it as you are ahead of the rest of us if Coopers ever change back to the black forum pages [biggrin] Mind you I don't think the new pages are pink, more a very light brown.
Guest Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 I posted a thread when the change was happening but for some unbeknown reason that has been deleted [devil] I don't like these colors. It is hard on my eyes and you can't see any threads that have new posts.
Canadian Eh!L Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 It's PINK! Everyones names are in PINK and the back ground is CREAM![crying] This is way worse than seeing Muddy in a bride's gown[devil] .
weggl Posted August 20, 2011 Author Posted August 20, 2011 Chad, you must be joking!![biggrin] Gregs colour blind[innocent]
Muddy Waters Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Alright - I've finally seen this pinkish hard to read nonsense colour. It is horrible and hard to read. I'm outta here [pinched] someone give me a yell when there is an improvement. If I want pink fluffy nonsense I'll buy a pack of iced vo-vo's [sad]
Guest Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Yeah to be honest, I have said previously I don;'t like the color and it is more of an eye strain. I reckon if it doesn't change soon I am out of here too. A shame as I like the people on these forums but I am not going to put up with this if I don't have to. [pouty]
Hairy Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I don't mind a bit of change; apparently its as good as a holiday. I would stilll prefer a holiday though. I think the colour scheme just needs little tweaking. I don't mind the dark writing on the light background. But light pink/grey writing on a light background isn't the best. It is definitely hard to read the preview of your post. It won't be long before I am off to the optometrist for some glasses.
Matty A Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I dont think that Coopers would have made it look like this on purpose. Maybe they havent finished some changes or a geek in the background is getting revenge on us for calling them geeks?
Canadian Eh!L Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Hey, We really have to do something about this colour thing here.[rightful] Muddy and Bill are threating to jump ship! If they go who will answer all the questions on this forum?[unsure] [annoyed]
PB2 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 My screen comes up with shades of brown and beige - it doesn't look pink to me. I use IE. Is it possible that different web browsers display it with pink hues?? Maybe you get a feeling of pink because of the red topic headings, etc.?? I find that black text on a light background is more readable than white text on a dark background - this was one of the common complaints when the Brewers Guild forums went live.
