I just bought a new kegland Grand Delux 3 and installed it last Wed. The compressor cuts in every 5 min,  runs for 90sec and cuts out again. Not sure if that's normal or not. Fridge is down to 2 deg c and everything else is fine. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue.    Kieran.

There are quite a few Kegerator owners on this forum @kierank I sure someone will be along soon.

I have a home-made one so I cannot help.

Cheers.

hello there yes depending on where you have it in the house and how warm it is. They are designed to turn on when the temp goes up by one degree.  So if you stand there and watch and yours is on 2 it will turn on at 3 degrees.

It is a bit annoying and can work them hard not being able to choose a fluctuations. But I guess it keeps the beer constant.

Stop complaining you lucky b*stard. 😁

Only joking of course.  Very envious though. I've just got your basic Series X 4 kegger. It goes on and of like a pretty regular fridge.  The Grand Deluxe are meant to be a more commercial standard.  So the frequent cycling could be related.  I would have thought it would hold the temperature better, once cold.  But it depends on if you have it installed in a warm or col spot.
