DonPolo
I was just wondering if people consider the ROTM packs you can buy from Coopers to be value for money? Or is it more the opportunity to try different recipes without investing on large amounts of ingredients?
Fergy1987
I wouldnt necessarily call them good value. Can definitely get ingredients cheaper, but its a good way to not have to worry about creating a recipe and potentially give something you wouldnt usually brew a crack.

Yuley
I purchased my first one with the Hazy IPA, and was wondering the same thing. Given they all sell out relatively quickly, I assume many people do find them ok from a value point of view - and also trying to find some of the specialty hops. Shamus O'Sean
I think we are paying a bit for convenience. Plus, the recipes have been researched and are pretty good. Although they are promoted as "free delivery", I think that delivery is built into the price. Still I have ordered plenty of them over the last few years. Frankie4Fingers
I am no expert, I don't do all grain (which I know can bring the overall price / beer down) but I look at it in that I have just put down the recent Hazy IPA that Cooper's re-released and I paid $55 from memory. That will get me about ~22L of what should be a tasty beer. 24 cans or bottles of 330ml (taking that as an average slab size) gets you 8L (rounded up for simplicity). So for $55 I am getting about 2.5 slabs. You would be very hard pressed to get 2.5 slabs of Carlton Draught, West End bitter, XXXX or anything else mediocre for that price. For me the standard ROTM are decent value when I break it down into simple logic. The 9L ROTM craft brews are a different story though.......
