THIRSTY MATT
mate, im hoping its more " james squire amber ale' than "raosty toasty bitter ale'! got an opinion......if ya understand what im saying? (lol) cheers matt
THIRSTY MATT
nah ya know what...bugger it,,,ill give it a try!! i got a lager on at the moment,,,,,n a strawberry blonde recipe in cupboard,,,,then im doin one!! ill handle it as long as it aint "SUPER ALPHA TOAST". i can handle nutt n choc flavours,,,but i hate toast n i hate the bitterness of warm beer. ya know come to think of it...the only darker beers i have done is some pilseners from the country brewer n ESB...............i hated em! maybe that explains my fear of darker beers!!! a pilsener should be blonde in my opinion ,,anyway....im gonna try it!! have a lovely day! matt
Luke
ya know come to think of it...the only darker beers i have done is some pilseners from the country brewer n ESB...............i  :? Last time I looked pilseners were pale?

Luke
I reckon you must've got an out of date can that had darkened over time maybe? Bummer you don't like the dark beers....
PB2
It's a good idea to always check the best before date (packaging date) on liquid malt extract and home brew concentrate. The fresher the better!
THIRSTY MATT
thanks guys. i always do chek them. i just assumed these were meant to be dark.."german style pilz"?? the muntons one was actually called "continental pilsener". ................anyway they sucked  ...what else is doin? matt :D
