MarkF26
Hey Coopers moderators. One of my friends gave me his coopers DIY Beer kit but unfortunately he has lost the tap for the fermenter. I was hoping you could send me a free one so I get get brewing again. I'm sure you'll make your pennies back on me buying coopers kits. Let me know. Thanks

[bandit] Just call and say you lost the FV but have the tap...if they don't send the whole FV including the tap just call back and say you are missing a tap. Maybe, possibly. Wayne (Captain Yobbo)
Send an email to customerservice@coopers.com.au Either Frank or Paul will help you. I have had 2 issues 1 was a dodgy hydrometer they sent out a replacement asap. 2 The other was a pale ale kit came with no yeast so they sent me a replacement straight away and a spare couple of packs. Hairy
$1.50 in bunnings. Is that the old screw in tap or the new DIY push-in tap?
MARKP18
$1.50 in bunnings. Is that the old screw in tap or the new DIY push-in tap? Screw in. My bad, have never seen a DIY fermenter so didn't know the taps were different.
Hairy
I was hoping it was the new one. It would be handy to be able to pick up spare taps from Bunnings.

Hairy
Absolute Homebrew sell a tap referred to as "Tap - Coopers Style". Absolute Homebrew - Taps It looks like the size of the DIY tap with a screw on back. I haven't tried it though so not 100% sure it is for the DIY FV [unsure]
MarkF26
Definitely the new clip in one not the older screw in one. Can anyone confirm if the Absolute homebrewer taps will work?
PB2
Mark, you need the genuine Coopers tap for the DIY Beer FV. If you haven't already done so, shoot an email to Customer Service, as per Wayne's suggestion.[biggrin]

PB2
First name basis?? Sheesh![pinched] Frank recognises numerous customers by their voice alone - a very talented bloke is our Frank [tongue] For us, it's a good thing to know the customer well. The better we know them and know where they are with their beer making/drinking the better chance of offering the appropriate assistance.[biggrin]
