Really really simple dinner. Not home made but absolutely some of the best pies the bride and I have ever had. From a place called Country Cob in Victoria. 2  Fish Amok pies and one scallop mornay pie to share. Delish!

It is great that we have so many choices in fillings for pies these days, I recently had Beef & Guinness Pie, Fish Pie (mainly Prawn & Fish with Tarragon, Leeks & Potato) Slow Cooked Lamb Shank Pie & others from a specialist bakery in my area.

There are so many others to choose from - curry/venison, lamb ....

Pizza night again at our place - seems to happen about once a week! This one started with a home cooked tomato sauce (run out of tomato paste) then mozzarella, ham, salami, bread & butter cucumbers, anchovies, capers, mushroom, sliced mozzarella and crumbled fetta cheese. My husband insisted on more grated mozzarella on the top. Fully loaded!

Definitely a Yumbo Jenny, especially with salami, capers, anchovies - chili & olives would have been good too. 😉

Pizza night here, very simple and a little bit underwhelming compared to @jennyss effort.

One ham, BBQ sauce, (Don't ask 😂) and mozzarella cheese pizza. Followed by a ham, tomato pizza sauce, mozzarella, capsicum, olives, and prawn pizza.

Not sure about your description of underwhelming @Tricky Micky, they absolutely scrumptious and perfect with a cold one or three 😉😋😋🍺🍺🍺🍺

My boss rears Berkshire Pigs on his hobby farm. So I bought half a butchered piggy from him last week. Jules made another traditional Pork Pie using all ingredients from it. She rendered down fat for lard which was used in the pastry. Used the bones to make gelatin for the jelly filling and of course the delicious meat.

It's the best pie of any kind I've ever tasted in my life. I can't even explain how good it is.
