davidf23
i got an idea to try a two can brew. So i decided on a dark pale and in reading through the IBU's of the cans used. its basically a India pale ale. Cans used were Coopers Dark ale Coopers International Pale ale then i added 250g of dextrose The used used was a mixture of English ale yeast and coopers yeast from an experiment i did making a ESB
PB2
I'd like to see some late hop or dry hop addition to produce something more within the IPA style. Looks a bit like the SMOTY recipe [biggrin]

PB2
Have been harassing the Marketing Manager, on a regular basis, to offer the DIY BEER Fermenting Vessel (and other components) for separate sale to brewing specialist stores. With any luck, he might buckle under the pressure, eventually... [sideways]
Hairy
Keep up the good work Paul. I just did some quick sums for you. These are obviously just estimates but lets say they are pretty close to the mark [wink] If we work on the basis that the full DIY kit with the extras costs around $80. Now we deduct the extras: $30 - PET bottles $3 - bottle caps $9 - Lager can $7 - BE1 $10 - Hydrometer $5 - spoon That means the DIY FV will be sold on its own for around $16. I will get one at that price [bandit]
