was making a ROTM and i put the oats through my coffee been grinder, Man did it do a great job all nice and even, best job i have ever seen of grinding grain. what could go wrong

Putting the grind in hot water, that's what  i ended up with a pot of stodge,

I think I'll stick with the rolling pin method.

I am going to use my mortar and pestle to crack some grain in June when I try a partial mash ROTM for the first time.

you realise you didn't really have to grind or mill  these oats 

oats are good  value  but can be a All grainers pain in the rear end  for stuck mashs and sparges  because the way they react


but grinding them it isn't going to hurt either
