Heat belt.

Hi Brewers

Further to my first question titled  "Cold fermenting", I've acquired a heat belt.

I need to cut the 2 pin plug off to run the lead through the fridge drain hole.

I'm finding it hard to find a rewireable 2 pin plug so can I use a 3 pin plug?

As @davids47  said just dont wire the earth pin   and you will be fine    you could even pull the earth pin out of the plug if you wanted to and just leave the positive and negative  pins in the plug

There is no need to do that.

Just close the door on the lead. They seal good enough and much easier

I agree there is no need, but I did what @jackgym is planning on doing.

I ran the temperature probe from the STC through the drain hole too.
