What beer were your parents or grandparents or you drinking back in the 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's?

My parents only ever drank a little wine on rare occasion and none of my grandparents drank whatsoever, all being of very conservative backgrounds, but one of my great grandfathers was quite the jovial partier and another from the other side was a mean alcoholic I gather but I couldn’t get any info on what they drank other than “beer”. Apparently Mr Party used to start drinking after work sometimes and begin singing whilst playing the piano for all the visitors and as the drink tally grew the songs would get more and more “contentious”
