Sion Di 13
I'm going to use the last of my original 6 cans I bought, to try a different brew each time. This time it is the real ale can. Any suggestions for hop additions for this kit.

Norris!
What kind of ales do you like? Fruity? Dank? Woody? You get the idea. Honestly I would just pick one to start researching hops and what they bring. But I like a good citra and galaxy combo or centennial, Amarillo and citra is good also. Dont be scared to do a big dry hop if you really want that in your face aroma and flavours. I do 50g and up with 100g or more really providing a punch. let us know what you decided Norris
Norris!
Sorry I never really answered your question. Since the real ale is already bittered, if you like that level of bitterness, I would do flavour and aroma additions only. 15min of citra or centennial or whatever with about 10g or so depending on the AA, and bitterness you want from this addition. 5min or flameout addition of galaxy or citra or both. Like 25g of each and let steep for 15 to 20min. While actively cooling, place pot in a sink or add clean ice. Then dry hop with 50g of each or 100g of 1 hop, 50g if you are not feeling adventurous. The 15min and 5 min additions will add some bitterness but A LOT of flavor and some aroma. I hope this helps as a blueprint Norris
Greenyinthewestofsydney
The can of Real Ale will give you about 31 IBU for 23L by itself. Agree with Norris. I'd do late additions and dry hop and make a nice Pale ale with it. But it depends on what you want and like.
elLachlano
I recommend this one (if you've got some cool temps avail):https://www.diybeer.com/au/recipe/1st-borough-lager.html I've done about 4 of these over the cooler months this year. OR this one for ale temps: https://www.diybeer.com/au/recipe/kilted-ipa.html I'm about to attempt my 2nd run at it as the 1st wasn't too shabby Real ale can is my go-to at the moment. Has a lot of potential.
karlos_1984
I did a real ale double strength brew. Used the can with 500g of LDM mixed up to only 12 ltrs. Added a hop tea of 25 g each of Citra and Centennial, with a dry hop of the same amount of both hops. Rehydrated kit yeast. Was awesome.
