antiphile
A neighbour sent me this link for 12 Crazy Beer Flavours. The title is certainly not misleading.

Hairy
I have tried the Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple beer before; it wasn't very nice. The Creme Brûlée beer sounds nice though.
antiphile
Now it seems some other neighbours are getting into "the unusual". I'll have to follow Magnaman's advice, methinks. He sampled this one in Utah recently, even though Mormons don't drink.
Nigelfromoz
I spent 3 months in Utah recently and struggled to find anything half decent to drink,I did try the 'Polygamy Porter",not a bad drop but not my cup of tea really,I drank a few Dos Equis ,quite nice, eventually I came across a beer brewed by Coors called George Killian's Irish Red ..about 4.5% ABV,not bad at all, haven't been able to find it here in Australia. Muleyinoz
I have never found any Killian's red here.
Nigelfromoz
I have never found any Killian's red here. It's quite a nice drop ' date='and cheap in the supermarkets in Utah-average price I paid was $4.97 for a six pack..sort of makes you weep at the prices we pay here doesn't it..[img']sad[/img] Cheers N'oz
Muleyinoz
Yes the price does bring a tear to my eye. That's why I make my own I usually down quite a few Killian's when I go back. I have to say I have come to like a good hoppy NW IPA or APA these days. I have even asked the Beer Store in Mel to try to source it with no luck. Nigelfromoz
It's very nice, don't think I could ever brew something that tastes as good as Killian's but who knows..you never know what you can achieve till you try.. Cheers N'oz
