Sticky Wicket
I have just bottled my first partial mash, all be it only an additional 420gms of grain and 13gms of hops. I have checked the bottles for clarity for the first three days and it appears it is taking allot longer to clear up. Is this to be expected/normal? AdamH1525226084
Hey Sticky. Did you do a mash or steep specialty grains? There is a difference. Seems like a small amount of grain for a mash is all. Did you cold condition the beer before bottling? How long had your beer been fermenting? What type of beer is it? etc. [innocent]
Otto Von Blotto
I wouldn't be worrying about it after 3 days anyway.. give it 3 weeks and see what it's doing by that stage.
Hairy
I don't think 420g of grains and 13g of hops will have a great impact on the clarity of your beer. Give it more time in the bottle and then some extra time in the fridge before drinking. It will settle out in time.
