Hi all

So i recently got finished setting up my brewfridge using the STC-1000.

My question now is: Where do I place the temp probe?

Right now its near the top pointing out into the fridge, but a thermometer near the bottom of the fridge reads 2,6 C while STC says 9 C.. (just a few sodas ind there at the moment)

Was hoping to make an IPA today, s\xe5 please help[crying]

againt the side of the FV.. I have mine in a piece of piece of packing foam and secured with a. elastic b. occy strap and c. gaffa tape

essentiaaly you want the probe secured to the side of the FV to read the temperature of the wort... how you hold it there is up to your creativity... once apon a time I even use blutak [lol] ... not as good as he packing foam though as the blutak will transmit the ambient temps and you really want to insulate from that to save the fridge cycling on and off..

gotta go and pitch my rehydrated yeast [roll]

well done on the step up in your brewery... you will fking love it.

Yob

I very rarely use the frige for conditioning. But when I do, I put a couple of crates of beer in it and just hang the probe in the middle somewhere.

I'm not that anal about the exact temp if I am just conditioning.
