Funny you mention that, ive just bought some barkeepers friend that Gash uses to clean my Brewzilla. He swears by it. Calls it pacifying.

Mine looks like this all the time. When I am done, it gets two big scoops of sodium percarb, gets filled to the brim and left for 24 hours. Does the trick every time  I now know what the filter screen that came with the Guten is for  Does it help?

I’m not that organised to do it every brew day mate. Gets it once every 10 brews or so.

 

to be honest I don’t even use the tap anymore. It did help but now I suck wort through the pump and through my chiller. I’ve got a little insert filter for the hole to stop trub getting in. That’s always chockas after brew day
