MELBOURNE CUP 2021

Well I suppose some of you are rich & some of you are poor after the Melbourne Cup 2021, I usually go to Morphet Ville Racecourse ( across the road ) for a day out & chase the filly's ( not the horses )    but attendances are poor due to restrictions etc so I decided to stay home & make beer instead.

It always a good day out when the crowds are there but not quite the same until we get back to normal, I don't bet anyway so I didn't miss much.

my dad got the winner, and was the first time i got to see my family since early june. 30c in melbourne and glorious. good day.

I got a percentage of the trifecta. Invested $21, got $44 back.

It didn't make up for the heavy losses suffered across the day. (Gamble responsibly, kids.) It's a good thing I save money making cheap beer, otherwise I might be p155ed off.

what a mugs day  it was  2nd place was no good as it put me out of the quaddie
