Specs well but the reviewer was not impressed with driving it. So that's an OUCH! Did she get the Excite version?

https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-reviews/mg-hs-78122

nope  she didnt   that was on the highend  of the market to what we could borrow

i must admit  though for what will use it for  it will drive nicely

if you was to do  long trips every day 500k plus  maybe not the right car

its a concern with these cars   but   they said that with kia (basicly hyundai)   and huyndai   with the korean car market.

the good thing with mg though still alot of the car is still made in longbride england and the designers have all come from reputible car manufactures

the down side  to this  you dont want to break down in the country as there is very little service centres but as the vechile takes a stepping stone in the country we will see more  service centres for mg

but hey   will probably upgrade in 5-6 years anyway

You could always go for a test drive and check out the issues the reviewer saw - and remember if it is unsuitable you have a 10-day cooling off period to change your mind.

Not sure how long a period it would take for SWMBO to cool off though. 😄

And English cars? I recall the time when almost any pommie car would break down if you drove through a puddle and the P76 comes to mind. 😄
