Beer Baron
I think I’m finally due for a red IPA next!! While searching I found this recipe and wondered what people think. This is supposed to make a deep red colour which is what I want. Have people used The Gladfields malts before?? Cheers! BB
The Captain!!
I’m pretty jealous of anyone being able to get their dirty little mits on gladfield malts. Very hard to find them here in the west.

Hairy
Is that from the Gladfields' website? It looks good. I have a heap of Gladfield malt at the moment but only the American Ale malt from that grain bill.

BlackSands
I use Glafield malts exclusively. Much of the colour in that recipe comes from the shepherds delight and uses about 3 x as much as I dare! It's quite a dark crystal with fairly strong raisin/cola type sweetness to it. I found over 200g as bit much for my tastes so instead get the red hues by using a small amount of roasted barley. Recipe seem very under-hopped for an IPA?

I am going to order these ingredients on Monday for 13L batch but I am still working on hops and hop schedule. Any idea for hops for this??
