Hairy
I can't really answer for Weggl, but it won't stop me [biggrin] He wouldn't have boiled everything; there is no need to boil the kits. You would boil the hops with the 250g DME in about 2.5 to 3 litres of water.

I have a can of OS Lager on order and was on the lookout for ideas to do something different with it. This one sounds good. [happy]

If I can find the Gardeners Blond I will post her as my new mascot.[love] [love] [love] George, just boiled the hops in water, no malt. Some say to boil in malt, I don't bother. Guest
You can just boil hops in water but you getter better bang for your buck if you create a wort between 1030 & 1040. Most people go for 1040.
