Type: Can Kit Recipe Batch Size: 21 litres Ingredients * 1 x 1.7kg Coopers Australian Pale Ale * 1 x 1.7kg Coopers Real Ale * 1 x 1kg Dextrose * 2 x 12g Nelson Sauvin finishing hops * 1 x Safale s-04 yeast Beer Profile * Estimated Original Gravity : 1.074 SG * Estimated Final Gravity: 1.019 FG * Estimaled Alcohol by Volume: 7.5% * Bitterness: 30.0-50.0 IBU * Estimated Colour: 11.8-35.5 EBC Method Dissolve the kits and dextrose in 4 litres of hot water. Fill with cool water to the 21 litre mark and stir vigorously. Stir in the wet yeast or sprinkle on the dry yeast. Enclose the hops in a mesh bag and place on top of the brew. Seal and try to ferment at 18C. Bottle once the SG readings are stable over a couple of days and prime at the normal rate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Muddy Waters Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 I've seen that bloke Paul giving away PB2s recipes in Beer & Brewer [pinched] I felt a bit short changed when the Scotch Ale recipe was in the mag after being also re-unveiled on this site when it was actually an old Cooper Club newsletter recipe (does that make sense [unsure] .
